What my world sounds like right now.

This version has never existed before. It will never exist again.

The wait becomes the music.
I'm taking a live look at the lines outside four NYC establishments and routing their wait times straight into the stems. The longer the line, the more it bends the track — drive, saturation, sub-weight, all of it negotiated by how long people are willing to stand outside. No two listens the same.
Caffe Panna→ filter · saturation
John's of Bleecker→ kick drive
L'Industrie→ snare · hats
Golden Diner→ sub weight
no audio yet — this one's still being built.

Music has been frozen since 1877. The song as we know it is just one moment, pressed into format, severed from everything that made it feel true.
doux unfreezes it.
The stems exist, the code exists, but what you hear is only possible right now, underneath this weather, in this city, at this hour. doux routes any live data directly into the composition, every listen a negotiation between the music and the world producing it. No two versions will ever be the same, and there is no master file.
