The Museum
A doux release is alive. It reads the world as it plays, so it never repeats and cannot be archived in the ordinary sense. There's no single recording to keep.
The Museum holds the frozen final states of past doux works during culturally significant moments. The shape a song took at one particular moment in the world, heavy with context, can be preserved.
What is frozen is the match data. The instrument replaying it is the same living engine doux uses today, so each piece is re-performed on every visit and may shift subtly as the instrument is tuned.
